Chapter 5 was basically about the world wide web. The internet has made a huge impact on everyone recently, even my grandma who knows nothing about technology, and this chapter explained about how it worked more. Hyperlinks help us to easily navigate from one site to another. The internet is now being used for more than just information, it is being used as a classroom as well, which is called the web-based course. Electronic books are also available online and the internet is used for entertainment, education, and communication.
I learned a lot from this chapter about computers. I have figured out my way to navigate through blackboard, but I learned a lot about online classes, which I have always been scared to take. Also, I learned a lot about the internet that I use everyday.
I don't really have a thought to say here... is that acceptable? I mean I don't really know what is even wanted here and I could say some random thing about anything but I don't have anything exciting to say! Sorry to disappoint =(
